Received the hilt and blade today from Reflekt Sabers. They also include some extra retainer screws and an allen key with handle for taking the saber apart. Xenopixel board is very good and the newest update allows a good amount of customization. Very happy with my purchase and will be buying from them again.

I've always wanted a lightsaber since I was a kid and watched Star Wars for the first time so I wanted something very realistic rather than just a toy, and I have to say, this is great! Feeling Sith

      FAQ

Luke Skywalker's lightsaber has had a few different colors throughout the Star Wars movies.

In the original trilogy (Episodes IV-VI), Luke's lightsaber had a blue blade. In the sequel trilogy (Episodes VII-IX), Luke's lightsaber appeared as a blue-green color due to modifications made to the visual effects.

So, depending on which movie you are referring to, Luke Skywalker's lightsaber can be either blue or blue-green.

The filmmakers changed Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from blue to green during filming because it was difficult to see the blue blade in certain scenes. This issue was first noticed during the filming of act one of Return of the Jedi, specifically during the battle on Jabba the Hutt's sail barge which was shot during the day. The blue lightsaber tended to blend in with the clear blue sky, making it hard to see. To solve this problem, the filmmakers opted for a green blade, which provided better visibility and contrast in outdoor scenes.

Luke Skywalker's lightsaber is not commonly referred to by a specific name in the Star Wars films. However, fans often refer to it as the "Luke Skywalker lightsaber" or the "Anakin/Luke Skywalker lightsaber," since it was originally constructed by Anakin Skywalker (Luke's father) and later passed down to Luke.

One widely discussed theory is that the change back to Luke's blue lightsaber represents his personal growth. During his time on the island, Rey offers the lightsaber to him on two occasions, but Luke refuses to take it, haunted by memories of his past failures. However, when Yoda reminds Luke to learn from his mistakes, he begins to see the error of his ways and ultimately returns to using his blue lightsaber.

After discovering it in a Jedi outpost on Tempes, Luke Skywalker wielded a lightsaber with a distinctive yellow blade. While most lightsaber pikes have two blades, this particular weapon had only one. This was because Luke discovered the lightsaber in a damaged state and repaired it as a single-bladed variation.
