Troubleshooting Guide
If you are experiencing any issues with your combat saber, please refer to the following problem descriptions and follow the instructions provided to help resolve the issue. In most cases, simple fixes can solve about 95% of the problems. However, if the solution below does not address your problem, please contact us for further assistance.
Premium Base Lit:
-
No Sound: If your saber is not producing any sound, it might be in mute mode. To adjust the volume level, turn on the saber without activating the blade. You should see a red power circle around the button. Hold the button for one LED flash (approximately 0.5 seconds). Repeat this step to cycle through different sound levels.
-
Loss of Color, No Lighting, or Absence of Clash/Blaster Sounds: This issue is likely caused by a low battery. Please charge the saber for a minimum of 1 hour before testing it again. However, we recommend performing a full charge before resuming its use.
-
Intermittent Problems with Sounds or the Blade: Frequent sound or blade issues can often be attributed to a poor connection between the battery and the plates inside the hilt. Try resolving this by removing the battery and reinserting it after a 30-second interval. If the problem persists, carefully adjust the connection plates by gently bending them inward to establish a better connection with the battery.
-
Brief Charging Time Followed by Quick Battery Drain: If the saber charges only for a short duration before indicating readiness and then dies again after a few seconds or minutes of use, the battery may not be charging properly due to a faulty connection. Try adjusting the connection plates by gently bending them inward to ensure a better connection with the battery. Then attempt charging again. If the issue is resolved, the saber should charge for approximately 4 hours instead of indicating completion quickly.
Xenopixel:
-
No Charging Light (unlike Premium Base Lit): Not all sabers display a charging light, depending on the model you have. To charge the saber, insert the charging cable as far as it will go without applying excessive force. Note that the plug may not appear fully pushed in, but it is often secure. Leave the saber to charge.
-
Loss of Color, No Lighting, or Absence of Clash/Blaster Sounds: Similar to the RGB Base Lit saber, this issue is likely due to a low battery. Charge the saber for at least 1 hour before testing it again. For optimal results, perform a full charge before using it again.
-
Intermittent Problems with Sounds or the Blade: If you encounter sporadic issues with sounds or the blade, it is usually caused by an inadequate connection between the battery and the plates inside the hilt. Start by removing the battery and reinserting it after a 30-second interval. If the problem persists, gently adjust the connection plates by bending them inward to establish a better connection with the battery.
-
Random Color Changes or Partial Colors along the Blade: This issue often occurs when the blade is not securely connected within the emitter. To address this, turn off the power, unscrew the emitter screws that hold the blade in place, push the blade as far as it will go, and securely tighten the screws.
-
Continuous Beeping when Pressing the Button: If the saber emits a beeping sound every time you press the button, it means you are in the volume options menu. Pressing the button adjusts the volume level, while holding the button produces a different tone for volume control. To exit the settings, simultaneously hold the button and perform a hilt clash.
